Approach to Multi-Timescale Optimization for Distributed Energy Resources Clusters Considering Flexibility Margin

The disordered access of massively distributed energy resources (DERs) brings great challenges to the operation stability power grid. This paper puts forward concept a cluster, which gathers DERs in large quantities, small capacities, dispersion and disorder form large, centralized orderly whole, namely with certain incentive measures. In this paper, multi-timescale optimization method day-ahead planning intra-day rolling is proposed according characteristics aggregated clusters requirements China’s grid architecture. Specifically, day ahead model two steps: first step establish an goal optimal fitting target load curve maximizing utilization DERs; second potential game considering reasonable distribution cluster benefits. Taking minimum percentage output correction each as objective, deviation forecasting instruction execution, established.
